I just found this site today for a real estate agent in Naples, Florida. If you are looking to buy a home in Florida you should be doing your research on real estate agents. Don’t just flip through the Yellow Pages and hope for the best. Find an agent who knows a thing or two about each area you are interested in looking at.
In addition, her website offers excellent resource tips in the left sidebar. Tips for first time buyers, improve your credit, etc.

Relocations are at an all-time high due to the housing crisis and subprime disaster.
Both rich and poor are suffering in today’s housing market. The lower income brackets are losing their homes due to the subprime collapse, and the middle classes are losing their equity as the cancer of the collapse spreads upward. This is causing people of all economic stripes to relocate and downsize their living arrangements.
That’s because homes priced at the half-million mark—and higher—are now also beginning to shrink in value. Initially, the properties hit hard by the subprime crisis were lower-priced dwellings more often than not bought by people with poor credit. But now, as too many of us are experiencing, the pain is spreading even to people with good credit and higher incomes.
Until recently, sellers in wealthy neighborhoods were somewhat protected from the subprime credit crisis and were still drawing buyers with high salaries, good credit scores, and a cushion of savings. But the problems worsened after Lehman Brothers collapsed on Sept. 15 and credit markets froze, corporate giants laid off thousands of highly paid workers, and the stocks that padded the portfolios of the wealthy plummeted.
The lower earners were given mortgages they couldn’t afford, and the higher earners developed an equity bubble that is bursting right now. All we can really do is wait it out. Some people will unload their properties at a loss, giving new buyers a chance to buy a home for less than they would have a year ago. Other people will rent their homes while they wait and see if the market recovers.

The market may suck for selling houses right now, which is why many owners are hanging onto their property instead of selling. This means that someone looking to rent might get a super deal to rent the house of their dreams for far less than it would normally cost.
Renting a home is a decision that is often based on finances, which means keeping within a strict budget is the way to go. But some people rent a home because they may only be in town for a year due to their job or other factors. In that case, today’s house market may allow you to have that great house for a fraction of what you would normally pay to rent it.
If you are looking to rent a home, this market might be your chance to get into a great place - for now, at least!

Self Storage,

Self storage works by giving you a secure “room” you move your furniture into. Over the years I’ve spent some time surfing friends’ couches. Yet I’ve always had an apartment’s worth of stuff that had to be dealt with. When I was younger and had enough energy and friends with enough energy, I would use self storage.
Self storage facilities usually allow 24/7 access via keycard or code access. I would take my moves slow, spreading them out over several days and making lots of trips to my self storage unit. Midnight would often find me pulling my car up to my self storage unit, unloading boxes with a few friends.
Unlike the storage units provided by moving companies, self storage is a lot cheaper. However, you have to do the work yourself, and have to carry your own contents insurance. But self storage gives you a lot of flexibility and the option of retrieving an item or two without dealing with a lot of moving company costs.

Moving house is stressful. It is rather unbelievable, but at just 32 years old I am about to make my 30th move. This one will be from Kansas to Denver, traveling light. Light means a couple of boxes and a couple of suitcases. Plus a dog.
I hope that if I impart some of my experience, people will be able to have less stress in their house moves - whether it is across town or across an ocean. A low stress house move can keep you from losing your hair, your mind, and valuable years from your life! At the rate I move, I expect to be dead by 50!
Right now homes are being foreclosed throughout the western world, and people are moving. Others are downsizing. To be able to do all this as a low stress house move would enable them to save their sanity and save some money.
For all the students, military families, gypsies, nomads and others affected by wanderlust, this low stress house move blog is for you.
